During his 3 years on Tatoosh he also spent 18 months as the on board Computer Technician. Robert has cruised much of the world, including the Caribbean, Alaska, Pacific, Micronesia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Returning to his first passion of sailing, Robert joined the Maltese Falcon in November 2005 during the final stages of her build and launch. Robert has a Class IV Masters Ticket and an experienced PADI diver.
In his spare time you could find him either playing with new gadgets - including his two drones he likes to take out and get aerial footage of the boat with - roller blading, reading or watching movies.
Larim has been working in the yachting industry for over 18 years, but actually started sailing as a toddler in Antibes - the heart of yachting.
Larim is predominantly our rigging expert; however his skills do not end with the masts. He has been with the yacht since 2006 and an expert in rope work and carpentry. He mentors our deckhands ensuring excellent exterior maintenance.
Larim has competed in multiple regattas throughout Europe and also transatlantic races. Larim is passionate about racing classic sailing yachts and before Maltese Falcon he worked for 6 years on board the S/Y Mariette.
Larim takes care of his fellow crew members and enjoys creating items of jewellery out of spare boat parts.
Since September 2016 Captain Leontitsis Nikolaos has joined the Officers team of the Maltese Falcon as First Officer. Nikolaos has world wide experience, having covered a lot of Ocean miles, from the Gulf to the Red Sea Suez, from the Mediterranean and North Europe, to North and South America and the Caribbean. His sea service experience starts from 2000, having been awarded skipper’s license for unlimited trading since 2003 and from April 2013 he was captain for major shipping companies on boats of up to 295m.
He is passionate about sailing and from a young age he trained and competed in the Laser Championships under the coach of the Greek National team Georgios Holopoulos. At 2011 he participated in the ORC yacht race and won the 2nd place.
He has worked with cargo vessels, passengers ships in Greece, Italy, Germany and Finland. He is trained to ISM standard and he is also familiar with other regulations including MLC , VGP USA, ECA , SECA ISPS. As Fleet cargo Supervising Officer at Costamare he experienced two major Dry Dock periods.
Many of our Deck Team of 6 sailing and water sport professionals, started sailing from a very young age, and participating and winning in competitions . They have experience with water sports including diving, and kite surfing, as well as the necessary accreditations for safety, tender driving, and other toys. Their mission is to make the guest's visit as fun and exciting as possible. Other hobbies include saxophone playing, rugby and painting.
Having spent most of his early years dingy sailing and weekends away sailing on his family yacht around the UK a career at sea was evitable for Michael.He started his career working for the world’s largest yacht charter company and skippered sailing yachts around the south coast of the UK and Greece.
Michael took the opportunity to join the superyacht industry back in January 2009 andsince then has spent his career on some of the industry’s most prestigious yachts such as Coral Island, Pelorus, Hurricane Run, and Seanna, however upon being offered the position on the MALTESE FALCON, he feels elated to be able to continue in his sailing passion on the industry’s most recognisable sailing yacht.
In his spare time Michael enjoys mountain biking, hiking, diving and kite surfing. His mission is to make the guest’s visit as fun and exciting as possible

Nico is part of the Maltese Falcon program since March 2014 and now into his fourth charter season. Nico has supervised our ten year survey completed succesfully in Malta in the winter of 2015. Nico was born and raised in Constanta, a big city port on the Black Sea. He graduated from the Marine University of Constanta in 2007 with his initial engineering qualifications in Naval Electro-Mechanics Engineering. From here he began to fulfil his dream of becoming an engineer.
He spent a year working on containerships before moving to the superyacht industry in 2008. Nico sailed around the world on some of the largest yachts including "M/Y Lauren L" and M/Y Alysia, as well as completing many shipyard periods and inspections. His experience includes being in charge of rudder systems, HVAC systems and pumps and refit jobs. During his time at sea he has obtained a great understanding of the marine environment and pollution prevention.
Nico leads our team of four engineers to manage engines, mast systems, electrics generators and all supporting plant on board.
In his free time he plays football, reads science magazines and enjoys watching films. He is a social young man and very helpful on all on board.
Richard started cooking when he was 15 years old for his parent’s restaurant and from there he went on to study at catering college for two years. After moving to London he worked for the 5* Dorchester Hotel and also gained employment with Gordon Ramsay at Clariages (1 Michelin star). Following on he attended the TV series “Master Chef - The Professionals” and the “Roux Scholarship”.
After gaining enough experience and knowledge, Richard decided to open his own restaurant where it was entered into the Michelin Guide and the Good Food Guide for three consecutive years. Richard won numerous awards for best restaurant in the Midlands, UK. Since then he was Head Chef on board Shenandoah, a 100 year old, three masted scooner where he gained experience in following Strict diet plans for guests and owners. He is now extremely excited to have joined the Maltese Falcon !

Jennie was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. She spent her summers with family, sailing and motoring around the small islands around the Stockholm archipelago
Jennie spent many years in England, working in high-end hospitality, and including directly for high profile individuals within their private estates. This is Jennie’s third season with the MALTESE FALCON and she is leading her experienced team with enthusiasm and offering delightful service.
Our steward/ess team is comprised of 6 multi skilled and dynamic professionals, which includes a personal trainer and a beauty and massage specialist. Between them they have extensive experience of working in yachting industry, events management and hospitality with diverse personal interests.
